This week’s expert is my friend Brad Waggoner!
Brad is joining us on the Rewarding Behaviors forum to give pet professionals tips on working with elderly clients. Unfortunately, Brad’s week coincides with my trip to the APDT conference, so I’m going to have to hope he’s willing to answer my questions when I return (I was really looking forward to this topic!).

Brad Waggoner, APDT, CDW
After many years assisting Lisa with Good Manners classes, Brad is now an active trainer with Cold Nose College. He is a School Education Program volunteer for the Valley River Humane Society helping students learn about reward-based training, pet safety and dog bite prevention and is a full member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT). He continues to further his education by attending classes, seminars and workshops taught by the leaders in the fields of animal behavior and training. In his latest intern academy at Peaceable Paws Brad received top honors in the practical exam, showing his ability to apply training methods learned. Brad’s love of teaching and training are evident in the way he uses reward based training techniques with both the dog and their humans……always aware that behaviors that are rewarded will be repeated.
