What makes RBDT classes different?

Our classes are convenient and fun!  We offer frequent (weekly) orientations for new students, so you can start right away – no waiting for an available class to start!

Our flexible scheduling model allows you to sign up for the classes that fit your schedule and training goals, choosing from a number of class days and times each week. Each exercise is tailored to your dog’s individual progress and needs; every dog learns at her own pace with customized training plans.

We offer a wide variety of classes from puppy through advanced, with pricing options and training packages to meet any dog owner’s budget!

Discounts available for multiple dogs from the same household and for rescue dogs.

~ Semi-private lessons

~ Create-A-Class Customized classes created for small private groups of interested parties and offered at discounted rates (my facility or your location)

~ Supervised, off leash play groups: At the Clicking with Canines facility in Endicott, NY.  All dogs will be pre-screened and required to attend at least a month of Foundation classes before being eligible to participate.

~ Private training lessons At your home or our classroom.  Discounts available for multi-session packages.

~ Phone/email consultations for other trainers

~ Pre-adoption counseling Help finding the right dog for your family.  Discounted training for selected dogs available.

~ Seminars for training clubs and rescue organizations Offering seminars on positive reinforcement training, motivating your clients, maximizing revenue through a memberships program, social networking for dog trainers, problem solving, desensitization for husbandry techniques, preparing your dog for your new baby, dog safety and kids, dog safety for delivery persons and other home visit professionals, marketing within your community, etc.

-Day Training Are you working multiple jobs?  Are you a busy professional who struggles to find the time to fulfill your dog’s training and exercise needs?  Would you like someone to stop by your house during the day to provide your dog with training and exercise?  If so, day training may be the best option for you.  We will talk about your training goals, I will train the behaviors, add the cue of your choice, and show you how to further develop and maintain the behavior in your home.  Training plans will be customized to your unique training goals.

JUST FOR FUN

~ Movie night at the classroom!  Offering screenings of “dog movies”, including both popular films and behavior and training productions

FREE SERVICES

~ Free positive reinforcement training forum!

~ Free introduction to behavior modification for veterinarians, breeders, groomers, rescue and shelters, boarding kennel operators and their staff!

~ Free presentations on dog bite prevention/safety available for selected community groups (Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, 4-H Clubs, Service Dog organizations, rescue organizations) at our facility

Private lesson availability varies by demand; please call for current schedules. Travel is included up to 20 round-trip miles, after which a nominal mileage fee of $0.50/mile is charged (a 15-mile trip would have an additional $5 in mileage per visit).
